1. Italian Heritage Festival, Kensico Dam Plaza (7/24)
Come celebrate Italian culture and special honoree, local resident Lisa LaRocca of News 12 Westchester, at the Italian Heritage Festival at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. The Festival takes place from noon until 6 p.m. The festivities will include food, dancing, music, exhibits, children’s games, and arts and crafts vendors. The event will also feature entertainment from Teo Ricciardella, DJ Nando Alpuche, Antonio Guarna, Francesca Cavalliere, Anna Calemme, Marcello Sparagna, Nat & Diane Carbo, and DJ Marcello. The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed. Admission and parking are free.

2. ART WALK: Stroll Katonah Galleries w/Live Music (7/23)
Katonah’s award-winning town-wide art and music stroll. Voted Best New Community Event by Westchester Magazine. Enjoy live music at the gazebo and at the art galleries throughout town. The town’s galleries and shops host special pop-ups along the route. Always interesting sights and sounds to experience. From 4 to 8 p.m. Free.

3. Sleeping With Wolves (7/22)
Sleeping with Wolves, the Wolf Conservation Center’s popular nocturnal adventure experience gives guests a chance to camp out overnight with the 30+ wolves that call the WCC home. With all the howls, circling vultures, and nature’s nighttime chatter, you’ll feel like you’re camping under the stars with wild wolves. Space is limited and slots sell out quickly. Pre-registration is required. Admission price includes Pizza Party with Ambassador wolves Alawa, Zephyr, and Nikai ( vegan and gluten-free options available upon request); the opportunity to potentially behold endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves; a movie under the stars at Zephyr, Alawa, and Nikai’s enclosure; evening fireside snacks, and light breakfast in the morning; tents for all participants. Fees: $299 per 4-person tent. Singles: $150 per person (must bring own tent).
