Yorktown Police Probe Daytime Burglaries
Yorktown Police are investigating the report of two daytime burglaries that occurred on December 11 and December 12 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
The first burglary took place in the Mohegan Lake area and the second in Yorktown Heights. In both instances, a brick or large rock was thrown through a rear sliding glass door and entry into the residence was gained.
There are currently no suspects or suspected vehicles. Police are reminding residents to secure their homes and secure valuables in an area other than the master bedroom. Anyone with information is asked to call 962-4141.
