Yorktown Examiner Broadening Coverage Area
The Yorktown Examiner will be working this month towards once again expanding its reach for the newspaper’s readers and advertisers.
This week, in earnest, the paper introduces Peekskill coverage to its news and editorial pages. (see this week’s print edition of The Yorktown Examiner.)
Next week, in the publication’s April 19-25 edition, the newspaper will widen its coverage and distribution in other surrounding communities, increasing its presence in Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson.
In December of 2009, The Yorktown Examiner debuted by shining its spotlight most heavily on Yorktown, while also providing some level of distribution and light coverage to the entire northern Westchester corridor.
Since then, the paper intensified its focus on two other municipalities: the towns of Cortlandt and Somers, with the Somers coverage being added just last month. Cortlandt news coverage was introduced last year.
Examiner Media, the company that publishes The Yorktown Examiner, also operates The Examiner and The Putnam Examiner, along with www.TheExaminerNews.com and a Twitter feed and Facebook page, @examinerstone and Examiner Media, respectively.
