White Plains Examiner Sponsoring Sports Page Anniversary Party Tonight; Former Giant’s Pub Turns 30
The White Plains Examiner is sponsoring a 30th anniversary party for Bob Hyland’s Sports Page Pub on Thursday Dec. 15. Festivities begin at 6 p.m.
The public can just show up tonight to help celebrate, with no RSVP required.
Hyland played 11 seasons in the National Football League for the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, New York Giants and New England Patriots. He played college football at Boston College and was drafted in the first round (ninth overall) of the 1967 NFL Draft. He played high school football at Archbishop Stepinac High School, class of 1963. He has also run for political office in White Plains.
The Sports Page is featured as The White Plains Examiner’s Business of the Week, in the paper’s 12/13 to 12/19 edition. Copies of the paper will be available at the party. Hyland will be at the party to meet and greet and the event will offer plentiful networking opportunities. His menu features 1981 prices.
