I am writing to express my support for Christine Sculti in the upcoming special election for Westchester County Executive on Feb. 11.
Sculti brings a wealth of experience and a clear vision for our county’s future. As a former chief advisor to former county executive Rob Astorino, she has demonstrated her commitment to fiscal responsibility and public safety.
One of Christine’s primary objectives is to repeal the Sanctuary County Law, a policy enacted during the tenure of the prior county executive, where Ken Jenkins served as deputy. This law has raised concerns among residents about its impact on public safety. Christine believes that prioritizing the well-being of Westchester residents is paramount, and she is dedicated to ensuring that our communities are safe and secure.
In addition to addressing public safety, Christine is committed to reducing taxes and government spending. She plans to streamline county operations to alleviate the financial burden on residents, fostering an environment conducive to economic growth.
Christine also opposes Gov. Hochul’s congestion pricing plan, recognizing the undue strain it would place on Westchester commuters. She stands ready to advocate for our county’s interests against policies that unfairly impact our daily lives.
Christine Sculti’s dedication to fiscal responsibility, public safety and the rights of parents in education make her the ideal candidate for county executive. I encourage my fellow residents to support her vision for a prosperous and secure Westchester County.
