Tripodi Declares Bid for Ossining Supervisor

It is political musical chairs in Ossining.
Councilman Peter Tripodi (R-Ossining) has declared his intention to run for town supervisor days after Supervisor Catherine Borgia (D-Ossining) announced her bid for county legislator.
The moves come after Legislator Bill Burton (D-Ossining) declared he would not seek a third term representing District 9.
Tripodi, 26, was elected into office in 2009 and is the youngest elected official in Westchester County.
Tripodi will formally announce his candidacy at a press conference on Friday, April 29, at the Ossining Police Headquarters, 507 North State Rd, Briarcliff Manor at noon.
He plans to run on the Republican, Independence and Conservative lines.
