Steininger’s Voice and Perspective is Needed on Kent Town Board
Opinion Advocates for ideas and draws conclusions based on the author/producer’s interpretation of facts and data.
I am writing in support of Courtney Steininger who is running for Kent Town Board.
Courtney is a Lake Carmel resident, and currently there is no one serving on the Town Board who lives in the Lake Carmel Park District. This is very important because Lake Carmel is 60 percent of Kent’s population and we need someone who lives here to represent our concerns and issues on the Town Board.
In Courtney’s professional experience, she is the program director for a Westchester County-based food justice organization. In this role she manages dozens of volunteers while successfully obtaining grants to fund her work. As a pastor, Courtney works to bring transformative communities of people together based on shared values.
In both of those capacities, she is experienced with the grant process, including grant writing, a skill she will bring to the Town Board.
Courtney serves on the Kent Conservation Advisory Committee and is involved in keeping our natural resources and the splendor of Kent for generations to come.
Please vote for Courtney Steininger for Kent Town Board on Nov. 7.
