‘Snooki’ Brings Hundreds to White Plains Bookstore
Reality T.V. star Nicole Polizzi, better known as “Snooki” from “Jersey Shore,” was at the Barnes & Noble at City Center in White Plains to promote her new book, Confessions of a Guidette.
Hundreds of fans, mostly teenage girls, packed the bookstore with some arriving as early as 2:30 p.m. for her 7 p.m. book signing.
Marguerite Horton, a 15-year-old Valhalla resident, learned about the appearance from Polizzi’s Twitter page.
“I called up all my friends and was like, ‘We have to go see her,’” Horton said. “She’s famous and everyone loves Snooki, and we all want to be Guidettes.”
Polizzi, a 23-year-old Marlboro native, achieved fame when Jersey Shore became a hit in late 2009.
