We need a new direction on the Yorktown Town Board and Steve Shaw has the experience and leadership to do it.
After watching the recent debate, Steve impressed me with his measured, well-thought responses to the questions and his demonstrated willingness to look across party lines to do what’s best for Yorktown.
With his background in project management, Steve is uniquely qualified to serve on the Town Board. The skills that Steve has perfected over his time as a project manager include strategic planning, resource allocation and stakeholder engagement, all of which are critical in government. His ability to set clear objectives, prioritize tasks and navigate complex processes ensures efficient governance.
Steve is also a skilled communicator, and his talent for problem-solving, risk management and adaptability makes him well-suited to addressing the opportunities and challenges that local governments often face.
We need representatives who can not only keep projects on time and on budget but can effectively communicate when an unforeseen issue arises. We also need leadership who will be a voice for everyone in the community. Steve Shaw possesses these qualities.
