Rotary To Host Tasting Event
The Mt. Kisco Rotary is hosting an evening of fine food and live music tomorrow at Mt. Kisco Country Club to benefit various charities.
Carola Bracco, Executive Director of Neighbors Link will be the honoree at the event. Ms. Bracco will be presented with a Community Service award for her work at Neighbor’s Link. This year’s event will raise funds to benefit Northern Westchester Hospital’s Community Health Outreach Program (CHOP) which seeks to improve the delivery of healthcare to our underserved population through outreach and education initiatives, as well as to support Mount Kisco Rotary’s other charitable, philanthropic and scholarship programs.
Last year, the club held its first ever Tastes event at the Club which turned out to be a huge success; raising over $20,000. The main beneficiary was the Institute of Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF). Through the language of “music”, the Northern Westchester Hospital and IMNF have joined forces to give to those suffering with Alzheimers, dimentia, TBI and other chronic illnesses the chance to feel and express themselves in a non-threatening and creative style.
