Nov. 4: Report received at 7:14 p.m. of a domestic dispute at a Leonard Street residence. Responding officers arrested a 28-year-old man on a charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief on a complaint that the man grabbed the cell phone of another party to the dispute and threw it to the floor, breaking its screen. He was booked at the Green Street precinct, arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court and released pending a Nov. 14 appearance in court.

Nov. 4: A Barker Street resident reported at 10:22 p.m. that a relative came to his front door, was denied entry and was refusing to leave. The caller reported that this relative had assaulted him in the past and he did not want to let him in his apartment. Responding officers advised the visitor that he had to leave the building and not return. The resident was advised how he could pursue a formal Order of Protection barring the relative from contacting him again.

Nov. 5: Employees of a South Moger Avenue bank reported a possible fraudulent transaction in progress at 10:51 a.m. Officers responded to the bank; however, additional investigation by bank staff determined that the transaction was legitimate. No further police action was required.

Nov. 5: An officer responded to a Main Street business at 1:19 p.m. after a 911 hang-up call was received. The officer determined that an employee dialed the number in error and there was no emergency.

Nov. 6: A tow company employee came to the Green Street precinct at 1:11 p.m. to report that he had just impounded a 2018 Land Rover from a business on Kisco Avenue. He requested a blotter entry to document the seizure of the vehicle.

Nov. 6: A 14-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle at 6:15 p.m. while crossing Green Street at Lexington Avenue. Upon arrival, officers determined the girl was accompanied by her father, was conscious and alert and suffered minor injuries. She was treated at the scene by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps and transported to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation. The operator of the vehicle, a 75-year-old man, remained at the scene and was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital as a precaution.

New Castle Police Department

Nov. 1: Police responded to a local establishment on a report of a custody dispute between an estranged husband and wife. The incident was documented and both parties were referred to Family Court.

North Castle Police Department

Oct. 31: Officers apprehended an individual with an active warrant from State Park police on Main Street at 2:50 p.m. Officers were able to successfully take the subject into custody and handed the suspect over to State Park police personnel.

Oct. 31: A Sunset Drive resident reported at 9:19 p.m. that there was a burglary in the past at the residence. The caller stated that while at the Halloween event in town, he arrived home and found that his master bedroom was ransacked. The caller reported that his wife’s jewelry was stolen as well as money. Officers responded and filed a report.

Nov. 2: A party arrived at headquarters at 6:19 a.m. to report finding a credit card on the sidewalk on School Street.

Nov. 4: A complainant arrived at headquarters at 7:09 a.m. and reported observing a party defecating in a field by Elide Plaza on Bedford Road. Officers responded and reported the area is clear of any persons or vehicles; checks okay.

Pleasantville Police Department

Nov. 3: Report of an assault on Marble Avenue at 12:49 a.m. No additional information was provided by police because the matter remains under investigation.

Nov. 3: Political signs were reported taken from a Bedford Road property at 1:57 p.m. The incident was documented.

Nov. 6: Report of an unwanted patron at an establishment on Wheeler Avenue at 3:10 p.m. It was reported that the subject stole items from the store but the owner chose not to press charges.
