North Castle

May 24: 10:11 p.m. – Caller from Carey Dr. reports either a person or a bear on her Ring camera at the rear of her residence. Officers responded and reported premises secure. Surrounding area also clear.
May 25: 9:07 p.m. – Caller reports a neighbor is lighting fireworks on Pheasant Dr. Condition unfounded.
May 25: 11:02 p.m. – Caller from Leisure Farm Dr. reports a resident in area is having a loud party. Homeowner spoken to and turned off music.
May 26: 7:57 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported on Hadley Rd. Caller stated that a white Toyota Corolla parked in front of her residence and watched her children play basketball for several minutes, slowly moving locations prior to leaving. Officer canvassed area with negative results.

State Police

May 22: Police responded to a residence in the Town of Somers for a domestic incident involving a victim suffering from a stab wound. Investigation determined Marino DeRosa,19, of Somers, instigated a domestic incident and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center by emergency medical services with non-life-threatening injuries. DeRosa was arrested for Assault in the Second Degree, a Class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class A misdemeanor. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.

White Plains

May 23: 11:16 a.m. – A 59-year-old White Plains man was charged with Criminal Tampering in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny on S. Lexington Ave. and E. Post Rd.
May 25: 8:28 a.m. –A 45-year-old Bronx man was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree, Menacing in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree on Central Ave.
May 25: 8:28 a.m. – An 18-year-old Bronx man was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree on Central Ave.

Yorktown

May 14: A 25-year-old Bronx man was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree following a report of a male who stole a package off the front porch at a Yorktown residence. He was apprehended after a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway.
May 17: A 26-year-old Putnam Valley man was charged with Promoting the Sexual Performance of a Child Less Than 17, a Class D felony, and Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the First Degree, and Attempted Criminal Sale of Cannabis in the Third Degree, both misdemeanors. The charges stemmed from an investigation regarding an adult male allegedly providing alcohol to juveniles in exchange for explicit photographs and sexual acts at Downing Park.
May 25: A 74-year-old Armonk man was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, following a report of an erratically operated motor vehicle on Crompond Rd.
