Croton-on-Hudson Police Department

Nov. 24: A caller from Grand Street reported at 3:28 p.m. that he went to his vehicle parked on the street and observed all four of his tires were flat. The caller said they were likely cut.

Nov. 26: A Farrington Road resident reported at 4:09 p.m. that her neighbor blew leaves onto her driveway and left them there. Patrol was dispatched, reported speaking with the caller and attempted to contact the neighbor with negative results.

Dec. 5: A 36-year-old Bronx man was arrested in connection with two home burglaries, which took place in the village in recent weeks. The burglaries were on Wells Avenue and Piney Point Avenue. The suspect was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count each of third-degree criminal mischief and petty larceny.

North Castle Police Department

Dec. 2: A Vincent Lane resident reported at 5 p.m. that his vehicle was stolen from his driveway five minutes ago. The responding officer gathered the information from the respondent. The stolen vehicle affidavit and deposition were secured. The area was canvassed for the vehicle with negative results.

Dec. 3: A dispatcher from the Linden, N.J. Police Department reported at 7:40 a.m. that the stolen vehicle was recovered in their jurisdiction. The owner was notified.

Dec. 3: A Glendale Avenue resident reported at 8:53 p.m. receiving several packages to her residence that she did not order.

Dec. 4: An officer reported conducting a traffic stop on Hillandale Avenue at 5:35 p.m. The vehicle was impounded by Armonk Garage due to having a suspended status out of Pennsylvania. The operator also had an active bench warrant issued by state police on the Thruway in New Rochelle and Tarrytown. Contact was subsequently made with state police who declined to pick up the operator on the warrant at this time. The operator was issued summonses and provided a courtesy transport to the North White Plains train station.

Pleasantville Police Department

Dec. 3: Report of a burglary at 7:47 a.m. at Martha’s Deli on Bedford Road. The incident occurred sometime overnight. The matter is under investigation.

Dec. 3: A party reported at headquarters at 1:09 p.m. that their credit card was compromised. The matter is an open case.

Dec. 5: Report of a larceny from a vehicle on Cooley Street at 7:16 a.m. Luggage was reported take from the car. No other information was available since the incident remains under investigation.

White Plains Police Department

Dec. 1: A 61-year-old man was charged at 12:59 p.m. with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident at 167 N. Broadway.

Dec. 7: A 31-year-old man was charged at 9 a.m. with third-degree assault in connection with an incident at 252 Main St.

Yorktown Police Department

Dec. 4: Two 14-year-olds from Peekskill, one male and one female, were charged with juvenile delinquency after officers were dispatched to Route 6 in the area of Mill Street at 11:39 a.m. after a report from several passing motorists of two youths spray painting graffiti on the sound barrier wall. An investigation revealed the youths spray painted several “tags” and were in possession of multiple cans of spray paint.

Dec. 5: A 24-year-old Yorktown woman was charged at 4:49 p.m. with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, after allegedly stealing $200 from a cash register at TJ Maxx in the Triangle Shopping Center.

Dec. 5: A 39-year-old Garfield, N.J. man was charged at 5:25 p.m. with fourth-degree grand larceny, a Class E felony, after allegedly stealing five baseball gloves worth $1,600 from Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Jefferson Valley Mall.
