PHOTOS: Yorktown Memorial Day Parade 2012

Locals filled the streets of downtown Yorktown to honor those who served the United States in the armed forces. Members of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign War were joined by elected officials, the Yorktown Fire Department, the marching band of both Yorktown High School and Mildred E. Strang Middle School as well as boy scouts and girl scouts from the area.
Following the parade a Memorial Day ceremony was held at the gazebo at Jack DeVito Field.
