Hundreds of people checked out the latest models of vehicles as the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce held its first auto show, which featured 2012 and 2013 models, on Saturday, June2 at the Jefferson Valley Mall.
“Having a new car auto show was an incredible idea,” said Chamber president Joseph Visconti. “No one else in northern Westchester does it, so it is a great way to highlight our local dealers.”
Over a dozen local dealerships including Arroway Chevrolet, Croton Auto Mall, Curry Honda, Curry Hyundai, Curry Nissan, Curry Subaru, Curry Toyota, Estate Motors Inc., Mohegan Lake Motors, Park Ford and Pepe Infiniti brought a variety of makes and models to show off to the public.
The day was sponsored by Yorktown Autobody.
While patrons looked under the hoods and sat behind the wheel, local band Robin and the Hoods performed classic rock music as a soundtrack to the day.
