It was absolutely packed under the big tent on Mamaroneck Avenue Sunday afternoon. The sun was golden with the crisp feel of autumn in the air. People of all ages –though you had to be 21 to get in– were lined up purchasing large steins of beer and enjoying the brew. The restaurants along the avenue were packed as well. The Iron Tomato was on-hand serving up German food delicacies and baked goods and the sounds of Oom-Pah music could be heard above the din of happy voices.

It would not be Oktoberfest without the Bavarian costumes!

There were many harvest beers to choose from and the lines were several people deep waiting for a chance to taste a new brew or an old favorite.
