Mt. Kisco Teachers Prepare for NYC Marathon

Mt. Kisco Elementary School teachers Adriana MacGregor and Melissa Ponzio will participate in this weekend’s 50th anniversary running of the New York City Marathon.
Both are lifelong athletes for whom running has been a source of fitness and strength.
“In recent years, running became more than a means of staying healthy and strong, but also a way to bring awareness and agency to issues that had affected both women personally,” the teachers said in joint remarks.
The pair also noted they are “proudly collaborating with charities that raise money and bring awareness to issues that impact children locally and around the world.”
