Mt. Kisco Lions to Hold Motorcycle Charity Ride Sunday
The Mount Kisco Lions Club will host its inaugural Motorcycle Charity Ride and Fundraiser on Sunday, July 22 to benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
The ride is a 75-mile police-escorted scenic trip through the lower Hudson Valley. It will begin with coffee and donuts at Mount Kisco Village Hall, located at 104 Main St., where riders will register between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Kickstands are up at 10 a.m.
After the ride, participants are scheduled to return to the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester between 12:15 and 12:30 p.m. An afternoon barbecue picnic is included for all riders and their passengers. The picnic is also open to all others for a $15 donation for adults or a $5 donation for children under 12 years old. The Boys & Girls Club is located at 351 Main St.
The barbecue and picnic will feature hot food and cold refreshments, a music tent, an ice cream truck and several motorcycle contests. There will be a free raffle, a 50/50 and several door prizes. T-shirts will be available in all sizes.
Families are welcome and the club is encouraging children to bring their own bikes, trikes, big wheels, scooters or whatever has wheels for a challenging afternoon of “Little Thunder” events. Don’t forget to wear helmets.
