League of Woman Voters Westchester to Honor Oppenheimer
State Senator Suzi Oppenheimer will be recognized for her years of service by the League of Women Voters of Westchester at its annual meeting on Thursday, June 7.
Oppenheimer, who is retiring at the end of her 28th year in the Senate, previously served four terms as mayor of Mamaroneck Village. She also is past president of the Mamaroneck League of Women Voters.
Additionally at the meeting, which will be begin at 12 p.m. at the Scarsdale Women’s Club, 37 Drake Road, Scarsdale, Reina Schiffrin, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood, will be the luncheon speaker. Her topic will be “Politicization of Women’s Health Care.”
A member business meeting will precede the luncheon.
The luncheon is open to the public.
