Lawler Has Clearly Stated His Position Against a Shutdown

A letter submitted to The Examiner last week (“Keep an Eye on Lawler with Govt. Shutdown Looming”) by Jayni and Chevy Chase is full of factual errors. I have heard Rep. Michael Lawler on WABC radio several times in the past two weeks. Rep. Lawler was given the time to clearly define his position on a possible government shutdown. Rep. Lawler indicated that he was AGAINST a shutdown, and does not support the seven Republican members of Congress who don’t support the appropriation bills, or a Continuing Resolution to keep the government open while negations continue.
Additionally, the subject of impeachment of Biden is not part of this process at this time.
Rep. Lawler is standing up for his constituents.
