Joseph C. Belmont Jr. passed away on Dec. 4 at the age of 86.
Joe was born to Joseph and Bessie Belmont on Apr. 16, 1938. After graduating from White Plains High School in 1956, Joe joined the Army that October. Later that year, while on leave, he married Barbara Hanak.
Joe leaves behind his wife of 68 years; two children, Cyndie Martin and Joseph Belmont (Lisa); two grandsons, Shaun Martin and Stefan Martin; and granddaughter Alycia Belmont. He was predeceased by granddaughter Brianna Belmont.
Visiting hours were on Dec. 9. A funeral service was held on Dec. 10 at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla.
