Jewelry Larceny in Pleasantville
Pleasantville Police are investing a larceny that occurred at Twin Jewelers on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., a man walked into the Wheeler Avenue store, asked to see pieces of jewelry and then ran out with two engagement rings. The jewelry is valued at more than $12,000.
Mount Pleasant Police and Westchester County Police joined Pleasantville Police in responding to the call.
According to published reports, the man was described as an African American in his 50s with a hunched back who was wearing a sweatshirt and a baseball cap.
