Holiday Crafts Fair Shopping this Weekend
White Plains will host three different holiday crafts fairs for gift shopping this weekend.
White Plains High School Holiday Crafts Fair. More than 55 vendors await you at the White Plains High School 19th Annual Holiday Craft Fair, which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the H cafeteria.
The craft fair, sponsored by the WPHS PTA, will feature vendors selling homemade jewelry, leather handbags, household novelties, and other items. Refreshments will be available at the snack bar, and musical entertainment will be provided by WPHS students. All proceeds from the craft fair support the WPHS PTA Senior Recognition Fund.
Fair Trade Craft Fair. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Asbury Hall, Memorial United Methodist Church, 250 Bryant Avenue White Plains. Over 30 International and local fair trade arts and crafts vendors;Vendor/Artisan led workshops about their trade; Hot lunch and homemade baked goods for sale; Live music and more. Free parking or Bee-Line bus #5 and #60; Suggested admission $2 to $5 (a portion of admission will be donated to afair trade cause in honor of Margaret Eberle).
ArtsWestchester’s Fourth Annual Holiday Boutique. To ring in the holiday season, this boutique offers one-of-a-kind, hand-made items that can’t be found anywhere else. More than 25 artists and crafters will offer unique items at every price level. There will be knitwear, hats, jewelry, glass, paintings and photography, in addition to artisanal lotions and soaps. A workshop led by Evelyn Eidelberg is also scheduled for today.
