Esposito’s Offers Candlelight Dining on Valentine’s Day
To celebrate Valentine’s Day this Sunday, Esposito’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in White Plains will serve a four-course, prix-fixe holiday meal from 12 to 10 p.m. for $30.95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. An identically priced offer also applies at its older sister restaurant of the same name in Valhalla.
“In addition to being fed, customers will receive a mystery gift to take home,” said Domenica Esposito, the co-owner with husband Domenick. (The gift will not be food.)
The ground-level and second-floor dining rooms will be lit only by candles on Valentine’s Day. An elevator brings customers to the second floor.
The starter choices are a shrimp cocktail or a salad followed by a pasta – either lobster ravioli or rigatoni caprese. The entrées include chicken campania in a brandy wine sauce, veal sorrentina (veal topped with eggplant), salmon alla fantasia, and shrimp oreganata. House-made tiramisu or Italian cheesecake are the dessert choices. Coffee and tea are included in the special.
Prix-fixe weekday specials
On weekdays, for the value-conscious eater, Esposito’s has appealing prix-fixe lunch and dinner offers.
An appetizer-and-entrée lunch with house-made garlic bread costs $10.95 – and is accompanied by a complementary glass of wine on Monday. The lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The luncheon entrée selections include penne vodka, cheese tortellini with meat sauce, ravioli, chicken or eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti and meatballs.
A three-course early bird dinner, priced at $12.95, includes a salad, penne with tomato or vodka sauce, an entrée and coffee or tea. Offered as entrées: chicken (pick your favorite from parmigiana, francese, cacciatore, scarpariello or grilled chicken over spinach) and eggplant parmigiana. The early bird dinner is served from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Good values are available during Happy Hour, too (4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday). Cocktail and wine prices start at $5, martinis begin at $6 and appetizers cost $5 each. Consider having a house signature martini made with Esposito’s house-made limoncello.
