Councilman, Supervisor Set for GOP Primary in Patterson
Patterson Councilman Joe Capasso will likely challenge Supervisor Mike Griffin in the Republican primary for town supervisor, as Capasso announced the formation of an Exploratory Committee.
Capasso, elected in 2007 and finishing his first term at the end of this year, said in a press release he planned to go door-to-door to seek people’s input but expected he would ultimately challenge Griffin in the Sept. 13 primary.
Capasso owns and operates North Ridge Farm on Route 311 in Patterson. Griffin was first elected supervisor in 1993 and has been re-elected six times.
