Amy Kane joins Prudential Douglas Elliman
Prudential Douglas Elliman is pleased to announce that Amy Kane has joined the firm as Vice President, Director of Sales, TriBeCa Gallery/90 Hudson and Vice President, Director of Business Development, Westchester. Kane will work both in Manhattan and Westchester, helping the firm to continue its expansion in the New York suburban marketplace, as well as having a role in the management of sales in Manhattan. In addition, Kane will target strengthening the Elliman referral system and building bonds between all offices in New York City, Westchester, Nassau, Suffolk and The Hamptons.
“I am going out and hand-selecting the best of the best for our company, and I personally sought out Amy for her tremendous talent,” said Dottie Herman, President and CEO of Prudential Douglas Elliman. “Amy’s passion for real estate, along with her deep knowledge of the market, and commitment to the entire scope of the industry is a huge asset for us and I am delighted to welcome Amy to our Elliman team.”
With nearly two decades of residential real estate experience in sales, marketing and operations, Kane has been one of Westchester’s top sales agents. She began her real estate career with Houlihan Lawrence where she quickly became Rookie of The Year and a top-producing agent. She later joined the Chappaqua, N.Y.-based agency Holmes & Kennedy where she was one of the company’s top agents and involved in the company’s transition and expansion into Prudential Homes & Kennedy. In 2006, Kane rejoined Houlihan Lawrence and was promoted in 2009 to Senior Vice President, where she oversaw offices in nine of the luxury Westchester markets. In addition, Kane supervised the company’s information technology, public relations and digital marketing services.
“I am thrilled to be joining the most successful and well-respected residential real estate firm in the New York metropolitan area and its suburbs,” said Kane. “I chose to come to Elliman because of their incredible reach across the region, their wide breadth of tools and resources, and the high caliber talent of my colleagues from the Hamptons to the hills of Putnam. I look forward to making a significant contribution to our company’s growth.”
Kane received her BA from Northwestern University and currently resides in Chappaqua and New York City.
