Abzun, Patiño, Farber Have Been Strong Partners on Mt. Kisco’s Behalf

I write to strongly endorse Lisa Abzun for Mount Kisco mayor, and Karine Patiño and Jean Farber for Mount Kisco village trustees.
As the current deputy mayor, Lisa brings significant experience in the operation of the village government. And as a lifelong resident, she has a deep connection to the community, understanding its needs and concerns. She founded the Village’s 5K Run, co-founded the Mount Kisco Arts Council, and among the issues she will continue to tackle are pedestrian safety, the condition of state roads and ensuring the Village’s continued vitality.
Patiño is the first Latina member of the board, bringing her knowledge and connection to the Latino community. She was a leading proponent of Leonard Park’s new volleyball court, with lighting to allow for evening recreation, and works to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of many of the village’s Latino and other small businesses, discussing with them how the village can be helpful to their success.
Farber, who previously served as trustee for 10 years, three as deputy mayor, is passionately committed to making Mount Kisco an inclusive, sustainable and multigenerational community. To that end, she has also been significantly involved with many organizations, including the Arts Council, Historical Society and Chamber of Commerce and the local League of Women Voters.
I feel fortunate to have such strong and well-respected leaders to collaborate with on issues involving the state, providing greater responsiveness and solutions for the community.
