Mario Gargano, formally of Hawthorne, passed away on Oct. 15 at the age of 93.
Born and raised in the Bronx, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. After the war, he worked at Consolidated Edison and retired after 35 years of service.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary. He was the father of four boys, Joe, John, Jimmy and Jeff and their wives, Luisa, Kathleen, Joanne and Soccorsa, and grandfather of five, Joe, Christine, Joey-Marie, Jacquelyn and Jenna.
He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
