Harckham, Champion for the Environment, is Needed in the Senate

Pete Harckham, as chair of the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee, has been working to fight our climate crisis, perhaps the biggest threat to our future, and protect drinking water resources. He also wants to reduce the amount of plastic waste that is costing taxpayers and municipalities millions of dollars each year.
When asked at their debate about how she would mitigate the effects of the climate crisis, Pete’s opponent, Gina Arena, said, “That’s a good question…you know, I’ve never really thought about it.”
This is Arena’s second run for the state Senate – and she hasn’t anything to say about the climate crisis?
Maybe it’s because Donald Trump thinks climate change is a “hoax” and global warming is “one of the biggest scams.”
We need to keep concerned and intelligent people like Pete Harckham in office. I urge you to re-elect him to the State Senate.
