County Police/Mount Kisco

May 14: A resident reported at 2:20 p.m. that someone tried to scam her on the phone by claiming they could help obtain a passport. After reviewing the call log in the woman’s phone, an officer determined the call had come from a private company that assists people with obtaining or renewing passports in exchange for a fee.

May 15: A Manchester Drive resident reported at 7:10 a.m. that someone had broken a window on his car while it was parked in his driveway overnight. The vehicle owner said nothing was taken from inside the car.

May 15: A resident who is an Uber driver came to the Green Street precinct to report that someone had fraudulently removed $408 from his Uber account. He said the company had requested he report the theft to police for documentation as part of reimbursing him for the loss.

May 15: A resident arrived at the Green Street precinct at 7:25 p.m. to allege ongoing harassment by his ex-wife. He said he did not want to press charges at this time but asked that a report be prepared to document his concern in case matters escalate. An officer advised him how he could pursue an Order of Protection from the courts. The officer also spoke with the man’s ex-wife, who denied the harassment claim.

May 16: Report of a tree having fallen onto a vehicle on Barker Street at 12:04 p.m. No such incident occurred. The source of the false call is under investigation.

May 16: Report of possible suspicious activity at a Kisco Avenue car dealership at 12:52 a.m. Officers determined that an employee was making a late delivery.

May 17: At 1:22 p.m., a resident reported that she had tripped and fallen several days earlier on Barker Street due to an uneven sidewalk. She said she had reported the matter to the village but decided it should be reported to police as well.

New Castle Police Department

May 15: A 20-year-old Bedford man was arrested for violating an Order of Protection when he showed up to his ex-girlfriend’s residence. The man was arraigned in Town of New Castle Court and released on an appearance ticket.

North Castle Police Department

May 12: A subject arrived at headquarters at 1:08 p.m. to report that a utility pole on Route 128 appears to be leaning over the roadway. The responding officer stated that the pole appeared to have sustained prior damage. It is tied up to prevent it from falling. Con Edison was notified to tend to the pole.

May 14: An officer reported that a stationary bike appeared to be illegally dumped on Old Byram Lake Road at 5:23 p.m. The North Castle Highway department was notified.

May 14: Report of a 20-year-old female missing from the Jenny Clarkson facility on Old Orchard Street at 7:14 p.m. The caller stated that the subject, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, had left the premises and ran into the wooded area of Cranberry Lake. Multiple officers responded and reported that the party was found and was being transported to Westchester Medical Center.

May 15: A Hadley Road resident arrived at headquarters at 9:43 a.m. to report a theft of a check, which then had its information altered and was cashed by an unauthorized party.

Pleasantville Police Department

May 12: Report of a robbery of a person at 2:47 a.m. on Bedford Road. No additional information was provided; the incident remains under investigation.

May 13: A juvenile was arrested on Marble Avenue following an incident at 2:28 a.m. Police did not provide additional information because the matter is under investigation.

May 13: Report of an incident of harassment at the laundromat on Wheeler Avenue at 6:31 p.m. A 29-woman was charged with a violation and a given a summons to appear in village court.

White Plains Police Department

May 10: A 37-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested at 10:59 a.m. and charged with third-degree menacing and first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with an incident on Mamaroneck Avenue.

May 10: A White Plains man was charged with first-degree criminal contempt at 10:22 p.m. following an incident on Van Wart Avenue.

May 12: A man was arrested and charged at 1:38 a.m. with third-degree sexual abuse on Tarrytown Road in Greenburgh.

May 12: A 51-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny stemming from an incident on Paulding Street at 4:55 p.m.
