Putnam Valley, County Would Be Well-Served Re-electing Gouldman

I have been asked about my opinion of Legislator Bill Gouldman who is running for re-election to the Putnam County Legislature in District 2 (Putnam Valley). I have responded many times, and now I also submit this endorsement in a letter to the editor.
I have known Bill for more than 15 years and found him to be a strong leader and advocate for his constituents. His business experience extends back to before he was a legislator and that experience with community involvement has “gotten the job done” on behalf of the residents. He is focused on the everyday needs of that community and maintains our quality of life.
In the community, he is informed on what’s happening in the Town of Putnam Valley and Putnam County and is their voice. On neighbor and neighbor concerns or problems, he has taken that extra step toward resolution, and did so without fanfare or accolades.
Bill is a family man. He and his wife raised their daughter in our town, and his daughter now has a family of her own.
Bill Gouldman is an individual who needs to continue on the Putnam County Legislature, now and in the future.
