Ossining Food Pantry Appeals for Help

The Ossining Food Pantry, which serves a large cross-section of residents from the greater Ossining area, is seeking financial assistance to help continue its volunteer efforts.

“Our donors have been very generous for which we are most grateful,” said Food Pantry President Marty Engelhardt, Jr. “However, because of our rising costs, we certainly can use more help.”

The Food Pantry experienced a 16% increase in clients served last year. The pantry is a “choice pantry” where clients can make their own selections, but the number of choices has been reduced due to struggling economic conditions.
