Second ‘Putnam County Passport Saturday’ to be Held
In recognition that September is “National Passport Awareness Month” and the upcoming holiday travel season, the Putnam County Clerk’s Office is hosting a “Second 2014 Putnam County Passport Saturday” at its office located at 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York on Saturday, September 27, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. Putnam County Clerk Dennis Sant and First Deputy Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti are holding this event as a convenience to our customers who need to obtain a passport in time for the busy holiday travel season. First Deputy Clerk Michael C. U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.
