Putnam County Chambers of Commerce Announces 2013 Trailblazer Awards Gala
The Putnam County Chambers of Commerce (PCCC), the county’s largest business organization and primary advocate, voice, and resource for the business community, announced today it will host the 4th annual Trailblazer Awards at Mahopac’s Villa Barone Hilltop Manor on January 31st. Tickets may be purchased online for $75 each at putnamchambersny.org. Emceed by Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell and Sheriff Donald B. Smith, 35 business professionals will be recognized for their outstanding success. A Live Auction will be featured at the event to raise funds for cross-county Community Development Projects throughout 2014 and 2015.

In a relatively short time, with the help of Jennifer Maher and Bill Nulk, in particular, we have been able to tune into the needs of our businesses on a more strategic, actionable level. This has resulted in the county’s improved focus on programs such as the Putnam County Transportation Task Force, which will increase traffic flow to businesses and attractions in the county by making it easier for our residents to get there,” said Odell.
Now in its fifth year, the Trailblazer Awards program honors Putnam County business owners and business employees who have gone above and beyond in one of the following categories: Emerging Trailblazer, Established Trailblazer, Mature Trailblazer, Environmentally Engaged Trailblazer or Socially Conscious Trailblazer.
