Driver of Car Involved in Hit-and-Run Sought by Police
The Town of Kent Police Department is asking anyone who may have information about a hit-and-run accident that occurred at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Sunday June 10 to contact them immediately.
The police department said that all calls made to Detective Ray Beauchesne at 845-225-4600 will be kept confidential.
The victim of the hit-and-run is still recovering from serious internal and head injuries at the Westchester Medical Center.
He is 16 years old and was potentially riding a skateboard when he was struck by a car near the causeway on Smalleys Corners Road.
The victim was discovered semi-conscious on the side of the road by a passerby who called 9-1-1.
There is no description of the suspect vehicle.
