Governor Andrew Cuomo visited Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Saturday as part of the statewide I Love My Park Day initiative, which brought together about 3,500 volunteers at 40 sites across New York. Cuomo, who helped build a picnic table and stopped to chat with volunteers, was visiting the park en route to Roberto Clemente State Park in the Bronx. The visit to FDR marked his first official visit to a state park since taking office.
